This was my first layout ever to be created based on a sketch. The sketch was the first Challenge sketch on the Scrapmaster's Paradise forum. It just so happened that the pictures and papers I wanted to use matched up fairly closely to the colors she chose for the sketch design (not necessarily intentional but it works!)
The "little" is cut with the Cricut Cartridge Graphically Speaking, while "miracle" was cut with A Child's Year. The journaling block at the bottom was cut with the Storybook cartridge. This layout challenged me in more ways than just using a sketch- I had never used the A Child's Year cartridge or the Storybook cartridge before and wanted to challenge myself to find something to use from those as well.

ReplyDeleteGreat LO ~ I love the challenge of sketches every now and then. I also LOVE A Child's Year cartridge and use it quite a bit. I do not have Graphically Speaking but I really love how the letters weld (unless the word "little" is already one of the cuts). I might have to look into that one.....
